The pastoral support system is currently undergoing changes that will ensure that the support that is misogynist is both bespoke and flexible unbearable to meet the needs of the students. First Aid: I am lead First Aider in school and deal with medical problems the students may have. I deal as many things in school as possible so that the students do not lose time from lessons. In the increasingly serious cases the students are referred on to hospital and parents contacted. I have run a successful First Aid undertow for a small group of students who received certificates in First Aid. School Nurse: I liaise with the school nurse to see students on a 1-1 basis. They requite support with information on diet, healthy eating or any other matters the student might bring up .I unify with the Nurse Health screening and inoculations programmes in school. Fitness: The students enjoy uneaten activities in school for keeping fit and there are other agencies we can refer to so the students know well-nigh healthy eating and exercise. Counselling: Counselling has wilt an important part of school life the students have gained from having somewhere to go to discuss their feelings and anxieties. Most problems can be dealt with in school but when I finger the students need uneaten help I can refer the students to outside agencies for remoter support. Support Groups: Support groups have been set up in school such as the girls groups this is aimed at all years to help proceeds their conviction and well-being . Students can be referred by the Head of year or anyone if they think a student would goody from the group. The first aid/medical room is based on the ground floor opposite the Learning resource centre which is wieldy to everyone. I finger the role of Welfare Officer is really important in a school as the children, staff and parents know where they can go for support for whatever reason.
